On 1 March 2026, the first round of the Cyprus Feeder Championship took place at Dhipotamos Dam. Anglers from across the island gathered to compete in what turned out to be a very challenging match.
Fishing conditions were tough throughout the day. The fish were inactive and bites were rare, forcing competitors to constantly adjust tactics and search for solutions. Despite the difficult conditions, many anglers still managed to put fish on the scoreboard.
The A section proved to be the more difficult area of the venue, where finding fish was especially challenging. In contrast, the B section produced slightly better results and more consistent catches.
